AICPA Lines Up More Software Vendors

Mr. Kolita was recently quoted in the above article written by Mr. John M. Covaleski of Accounting Today ... the Business Newspaper for the Tax and Accounting Community:

"Ben Kolita, head of a 12-person CPA firm with a two-person

technology practice in suburban Cleveland, believes his

technology practice has benefited significantly from sending

people to both the Microsoft and Great Plains programs. 'This

training is getting us the education we need to help clients

move to the next technological level,' he said. "

The American Institute of CPAs wants to expand its software vendor alliances for providing training that CPAs can use to build technology consulting practices. The Microsoft and Great Plains' training programs were launched at the June Partners Conference held in Phoenix Arizona in a effort to jump-start accountants' move into technology consulting.
